Dataset description

Information on the location, size and type of biotopes is used to assess the situation in various planning and procedures. Therefore, a vegetation-scientific mapping was carried out between 1992 and 1997 in the Tyrolean permanent settlement area below 1200 metres of altitude. The mapping base was the orthophoto 1:10,000. Biotope mapping has been updated since 2004. New measurement scale: 1: 4000. The biotope mapping is assigned to the INSPIRE data topic habitats and biotopes (Annex III).
