Dataset description

Due to the need to find in one place data on public authorities that are obliged to the Act on the Right of Access to Information (Official Gazette 25/13 and 85/15) as well as the register of information officers kept by the Information Commissioner in accordance with the provisions of Article 13 of the said Act, the Information Commissioner publishes a list of public authorities. The list of public authorities was drawn up with the financial support of the British Embassy, based on the collection and linking of data from different databases and submitted decisions on information officers. The list contains the names and addresses of public authorities, as well as their websites and contacts, as well as information about the information officers. The list is instructive and does not exclude the existence of other public authorities as obliged entities of the right of access to information and allows for a regular change of data. The published List is updated continuously, in real time and contains around 6000 authorities. We invite the public authorities to send the Information Commissioners a decision on the appointment of an information officer and any corrections and additions to the data by e-mail [email protected] If certain non-listed bodies consider that they are obliged to apply the Law on the Right of Access to Information, please notify the Information Commissioners by e-mail to the Information Commissioners, together with the corresponding data according to the columns in the table.
