Dataset description

The mineral resources register is a database belonging to the state information system, the purpose of which is to collect and ensure the availability of geological information obtained by geological exploration, reports on the volume of extraction of mineral resources and with the consent of the Environmental Board by means of marche surveying. The database contains information on mineral deposits located on land, transboundary water bodies, territorial sea, inland sea and exclusive economic zone (consisting of mineral blocks), mining reserves (areas where mineral resources are extracted) and exploration areas. The most important attributes are the dimensions of objects, the type of stock and the quantity. The use of mineral resources is regulated by the Earth’s crust Act and various regulations.
