Dataset description

A coastal water body is a distinct and significant part of surface waters between the baseline from which the breadth of territorial waters is measured and a distance of one nautical mile. DCE reporting correspondence: This entity corresponds to the WISE Surface Water Body (SWB) concept where the attribute ‘specialisedZoneType’ = ‘coastalWaterBody’. The layers are distributed in a format consistent with the picker data dictionary of the Water Benchmark Ref. version 1.4.
