Dataset description

The coastline of Crete was created as part of the Emeric sub-project of the CRINNO project. The design and implementation of the EMERIC I system is an infrastructure project for the actors involved in the protection, management and exploitation of the natural and environmental resources of Crete. The program was implemented in the framework of the CRINNO — Crete Innovative Region and was funded by the Region of Crete and the European Union. It contains data up to the completion of the project in 2006.
