Dataset description

The map with lime content in the top layer of the soil (the top twenty centimeters) is made by Alterra Wageningen. Lime is found in the soil because shells and shellfish are also left behind during the deposit. Lime is therefore mainly used for deposits by the sea and rivers. The lime content affects the acidity, soil chemical processes, soil fertility and soil structure
