Wild reindeer areas

The data set contains data from national wild reindeer areas. In mainland Norway there are 24 wild reindeer areas, ten of which are designated as national. These are Forollhogna, Hardangervidda, Knutshø, Nordfjella, Reinheimen-Breheimen, Rondane, Setesdal-Austhei, Setesdal-Ryfylke, Snøhetta and Sølnkletten. \\N\\nThe dataset shows outer limits for the biological habitat of wild reindeer populations. In addition, functional areas are shown where this is mapped. The functional areas in the dataset are draught path and draught area, grazing area, calving area and heat area. The largest polygon for each wild reindeer area shows the outer limit of the habitat. The smaller polygons within the living area are functional areas. \\N\\nAdministrative boundaries are not included in the data set.
