Protected areas (polygons)

Fulfilment of Articles 53 and 111 of the Nature Conservation Act (UL RS Nos 96/04 — ZON-UPB2, 61/06 — ZDru-1, 32/08 — Odl. Us, 8/10 — ZSKZ-B, 46/14, 21/18 — ZNOrg and 31/18) and publicity of protected areas.The data set of protected areas of nature is used for the implementation of nature conservation measures, as a basis for planning and decision-making in the space and in the implementation of measures of other sectors. Since the Environmental Agency of the Republic of Slovenia is under no regulations obliged to keep a register of protected areas at the level of local communities, the boundaries of these areas are informative.
