Dataset description

Series of plans of Andalusian middle cities of historical, tourist, or geographical interest. The basis for their preparation was maps 1: 2.000 and 1: 1.000, urban and territorial flights and the typographical and planmetric information provided by the municipal technical services. Divided into UTM squares of 205x205 m or 200x200 m, these plans include a brief presentation of the city and its location. It also contains a list of individual streets and buildings, arranged alphabetically and referenced to the squares where they are located. The aim is to have urban plans for cities with a population of between 30.000 and 50.000 inhabitants due to their strategic importance in spatial planning. Most of the paper maps were published in the late nineties and the first of the two thousand. They were digitised in 2008 and published on the web portal in 2009 to improve its dissemination and usability. The thematic series consists of 48 maps at different scales and dates: Adra (E4000, year 2004), 5000 Eguilar of the border (E2009, year 5000), Almonte (E2007, year 5000), Andean (E2009, year 5000), Antequera (E2009, year 4000), Aracena (E2004, year 5000), Baluch (E1995, E5000, 1996), Ayeman (E5000, year 1995), Baeza (E5000, 2004), Baluch (5000), 2008 (E5000) (1999).
