Dataset description

Digital base representing the location of existing freight transport centres in Andalusia. It is generated with the intention of collecting and maintaining in a digitalised information layer the territorial distribution of the existing freight transport centres in the Autonomous Community in order to establish a cartographic reference for the planning tasks of the Public Administration. It aims to respond to the needs of the “Infrastructure Plan for Transport Sustainability in Andalusia (PISTA 2007-2013)”. The data, which are in shape format at 1:100,000 scale, are updated as necessary since 2006 in the Public Agency of Ports of Andalusia, body responsible for information.
