Dataset description

The linear layer of inventoried sections of the Andalusian road network reflects the layout of inventoried sections of the regional network, calibrated by distance to origin (Pkdist). This layer is integrated into the Highway Information System of Andalusia, being documented since 1998 and reviewed every two months in the Ministry of Public Works and Transport. The information, created and stored in GIS format, has been collected at various observational levels, although it is assumed that 1:5,000 would be the minimum scale to which the representation is reliable.
