Dataset description

Digital base that represents the layout of the existing public transport platforms in Andalusia to serve as a homogeneous reference for planning tasks of the Autonomous Administration. It aims to respond to the needs of the “Metropolitan Transport Plans” and the “Infrastructure Plan for Transport Sustainability in Andalusia (PISTA 2007-2013)”. The information has been collected at various levels of observation, although it is assumed that 1:100,000 would be the minimum scale at which representation is reliable. The data, which are in shape format, are updated quarterly since 2006 in the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, the body responsible for information.
