Dataset description
The product shows the variation in thermal conductivity found in Sweden’s bedrock. The surfaces of the map are based on the bedrock map in SGU’s map database Berggrund 1:50 000-1:250,000.
In combination with point information heat conduction numbers in rock samples, see product Modal data and heat conduction numbers (open data), in some areas it is possible to get better information on the mineral composition of rocks and calculated heat conduction numbers. The information can be used for spatial planning of land use with regard to the construction of geoenergy.
