Dataset description

Mussel banks in the Lower Saxony Wadden Sea 2009. As part of the mussel management plan, annual mapping of the eulitoral mussel banks in the Lower Saxony Wadden Sea was carried out. The recording was carried out by stereoscopic analysis of aerial images. The flights took place throughout the spring and summer respectively. (English), Blue Musel beds in the Wadden Sea of Lower Saxony 2009. The intertidal blue mussel beds were determined yearly in the scope of the blue mussel management plan. Aerial surveys were carried out and aerial photographs were analysed by using a stereoscope to detect the mussel beds. (English)
