Arthropod census of salt varnishes in the Seewinkel as a basis for nature conservation work

University of Vienna Part A: Comparison of the spider communities of an unpaved and a grazed salt meadow. The material was collected in 1990 in the vicinity of the Illmiotzer Zicksee. Part B: Comparative studies of the spider and barrel beetle fauna of salt varnishes in the Seewinkel. The objectives were the identification of the common species, the bioindication of salt varnishes by means of spiders and barrel beetles, as well as the determination of the decisive environmental parameters for the occurrence of rare spider and barrel beetle species.
