CC-HABITALP mapping 1954-2003-2015 — Final Technical Report

On the basis of the aerial photographs of 2003, a state mapping was made according to the HABITALP method in 2005/06. In the next step 2012/13, a retrospective change mapping 1953/54 was carried out using the CC-HABITALP method. As a result of some quality deficiencies, this result was revised as the next step in 2014/15. As part of this project, the third step, the change recording in 2003 2013, was carried out using the CC-HABITALP method. The aim of the project was to comprehensively record changes according to the CC-HABITALP method for the period 2003 2013 as well as improvement of species data (tree species, dominant species) and spatial structuring with retroactive corrections (interval 1953/54). The mapping is based on aerial images (Pan, RGB and CIR) from 1953/54, 2003 and 2013. The ground resolution of the aerial images is 20 cm. A large number of secondary data were also available to the aerial interpreters. They served as an additional source of information and offered comparison possibilities.
