This thesis aims to create a mapping key for forest-free vegetation in the Natura 2000 area Ennstaler Alpen and Gesäuse National Park. In 2010, a mapping base for the non-forested areas was first created in a follow-up project and subsequently tested in a sample mapping. With this test mapping, the expected effort for a comprehensive terrestrial mapping should also be better estimated.
