Dataset description

The Energy Space Plans are regulations of the City of Vienna. This defines district-by-district climate protection areas. The data set refers to the already decided and legally valid climate protection areas as a whole. No legal claim can be derived from this data. In a climate protection area, only the following highly efficient alternative systems are permitted for heating and water heating systems in **new buildings**. 1. Decentralised energy supply systems based on energy from renewable sources; 2. Combined heat and power, 3. District/near heating or district/near cooling, in particular where it is based in whole or in part on energy from renewable sources or comes from highly efficient cogeneration plants; and 4. Heat pumps.
