Dataset description

Large areas are still traditionally cultivated in the Gesäuse National Park, while others have not been smuggled or mowed for (many) years due to lack of profitability. In 2004, 12 were carried out by the project management of the National Park (Mag. D. Kreiner) specified alpine areas by the contractor (ÖKOTEAM) for their small mammals, locusts, cicadas, bedbugs, barrel beetle and spider fauna. In 2005, the processing of abandoned alpine pastures was followed with the aim of documenting the impact of the use task on the conservation value of the land. Spiders, cicadas and bedbugs were processed.
