Dataset description

The nature in the Gesäuse impresses both children who roam in a healthy environment, as well as adults, whether they are locals, recreation seekers or natural scientists. Everyone is differently impressed by nature and it is difficult to describe their nature experience in words. It is all the more difficult to capture the nature of the leaves in just one report. Far too many dimensions are present, from the world of microorganisms in water to the habitat of the eagle. For a few years now, a national park has been planned in the Gesäuse according to the rules of the IUCN. Nature is moving more and more into the center of interest. In the end, a law will allow for the most natural developments in the national park. For this purpose, documents are required to read out the implementation of the objectives set by the IUCN. This report is based on the objectives of the IUCN and incorporates all the material and information collected in recent years on the natural space in the association’s office. The report does not fully describe the situation of nature, but can only refer to existing documents.
