Dataset description

Four sources (Etzbachquelle; Gseng; Haindlkar) were investigated by means of emergencies traps from 2018 to 2020, the monitoring of the Gseng source continued. The rubble buried one of the traps in the Gseng after a heavy thunderstorm in August 2019. The event was reflected by a slump in the spring fauna. The dance fly Kowarzia tenella from the Gsengquelle is new for the national park. The dark mosquito Thaumalea tatrica and the dance fly Dolichocephala Cavatica from the Haindlkar Hüttenquelle are first evidence for Austria.
