Austria’s National Air Emission Inventory 1980-2004

This report presents a summary of the data on compliance with the UNECE Convention on Long-range Transboundary Air Pollution (BGBl. No 158/1983) for the period 1990 to 2004. The EMEP/CORINAIR manual was used to identify the data. The presentation is in the NFR format of UNECE. This report builds on the Federal Environment Agency Report REP-0005 on the fulfilment of the NEC Directive (2001/81/EC) of 31 December 2001. In December 2005, the emission levels of SO2, NO2, NH3 and NMVOC are described with regard to the annual emission ceilings set in the Emissions Ceilings Act (BGBl. I No 34/2003) and supplemented them by the pollutant groups dust, heavy metals, POPs and CO.
