Dataset description

The report “Ring Test for Immission Measurement 2016” summarises the results of this EQA. Competence in the measurement of carbon monoxide (CO), sulphur dioxide (SO2) and nitrogen oxides (NO and NO2) was tested. The measurement results of all 11 participating organisations have been subjected to the same statistical evaluation methods as those foreseen for the European Reference Laboratories’ ring trials: according to the “Protocol for intercomparison exercises”, AQUILA document N37. Since February 2010, the Federal Environment Agency has regularly offered the operators of national and international air quality networks, as well as measuring instruments manufacturers, civil engineers and laboratories for immission measurements, the opportunity to check the measurement accuracy of their systems for different air pollutants in inter-laboratory tests.
