ÖCPA 2015

ÖCPA (Austrian Classification of Goods) Description: ÖCPA is the Austrian version of the CPA. In order to reflect the specificities of the Austrian economy more adequately, ÖCPA 1996 and ÖCPA 2002 introduced a further hierarchical level of the national sub-categories. The level of the national subcategories has been encoded by adding a single-digit numeric field and separated from the sub-category level encoding (6 digits, numeric) by a hyphen. However, at sub-category level, CPA and ÖCPA are completely identical. As CPA 2.1, like the CPA 2008, is more detailed in its structure, the level of national sub-categories is no longer necessary for ÖCPA 2015, as well as for ÖCPA 2008.
