Dataset description

The studies on the spread of the book printer depending on the specific topoclimatic circumstances in the different study areas show a high degree of variability with regard to the migratory potential of the printer. However, the data from the detailed measurements of the wind conditions at the topographically heterogeneous test sites and the newly obtained results on the flight capacity of the book printer enable a better understanding of the blackness behaviour and the migration of the book printer. The developed models allow a diagnostic, time & 8208; spatial simulation of possible propagation ranges, which can be used for an improved assessment of the risk of infestation of stocks. In addition, the models, in particular the simulation of pheromone propagation, can be used for the optimisation of monitoring and catching systems. The possibility of visualisation of pheromone propagation and the estimation of the reaction of the beetles also provide essential information for the spatial arrangement and number of catch trees and traps to protect against standing infestation.
