Dataset description

The former Eggeralm is located at 1.426 m above sea level on an approximately 500 m wide mountain saddle between the Tieflimauer in the NW and the Tamischbach Tower in the SO. This saddle was formerly called Bearsattel.1 The Hüttstatt lies in the lower part of the former pasture area. The pasture was little fruitful, but included a large area. Hall names in the southwest flank of the Tamischbach tower such as Niederschneckenalm below today’s Ennstalerhütte, Großes Kühtal, Kleines Kühtal, Großes Feldl, Turmplan (plan is the medieval name for alpine pasture, pasture area), In the stable, stable wall show how far the pasture area stretched east below the Tamischbach tower.
