Dataset description

Base line Belgium: the low water line (0-meter depth line) and ends of the permanent port works that protrude outside the low water line. Maritime borders Belgium: border line of the Belgian territorial sea and the Belgian Continental Plat with the Netherlands, United Kingdom and France respectively.Territorial zone Belgium: the waters from the baseline to 12 nautical miles (just over 22 kilometres) measured from the low-water line. In this zone, Belgium itself determines the laws and exercises the case-law.Georeference information:- All data is referenced horizontally in ETRS89/WGS84.- Baseline is determined on the basis of polls dating from February to October 2014 in relation to LAT.
