Bicycle Suggestestrook — numbered roads managed by AWV

Bicycle Suggestestrook is not legally included in the traffic regulations. A bicycle suggestion is part of the roadway. It is a physical strip on the roadway, visually indicated by different colour and/or material. Legally, this is not an exclusive cycle path but a form of mixing in which the entire roadway including suggestions lanes can be used by all road users. They are usually used in places where there is no room for a real cycle path, or when transitioning from cycle path to mixed traffic. The bike suggestions are inventoried as (part of) a numbered road that features a bicycle suggestion. The geometry of the actual bicycle suggestion is not included.
