Dataset description

The analysis of gravimetric data in the context of research into the Brabant Massif was carried out in 2004 by the British Geological Survey in collaboration with GF Consult bvba and the Belgian Geological Service under the supervision of GF Consult. The study was commissioned by the Department of Natural Resources and Energy (ANRE), Department of Economics, Employment, Internal Affairs and Agriculture of the Ministry of the Flemish Community (VLA04-3.1). The study was integrated into the previous study on the aeromagnetic data of the Brabant Massif. On this map you can see the Bouguer gravimetric anomaly (shown in mGal). To calculate the Bouguer anomaly, a reduction density of 2 100 kg/m³ was used. The colours on the map range from dark blue (- 31.7 mGal) over deep green (0.0 mGal) to red (17.2 mGal). In the map layer of the individual data points, exact values can be asked.
