Building density per ha — Flanders — situation 2013

Per hectare, the area ‘built’ is calculated by adding up the area of all buildings within that hectare cell. This included all buildings from the GBG building layer of GRB (main buildings, outbuildings and buildings zoomed with virtual facades) and all CADMAP buildings with the exception of the underground buildings (UN). This geodata layer was replaced in 2021 by a reworked version for condition 2013, in order to remain in line with the adjusted methodology used in the layout of state 2019.
