Dataset description

“Covoit'Stop” is one of the alternatives proposed by the Province of Liège to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Stop signs are installed at different strategic locations where the motorist can stop to load the pedestrian. “Covoit'stoppers” show each other their card and can, for greater security, send an SMS indicating their member numbers to a central number. This system is also a solution to the high cost of the car, the frequency of public transport or the inadequacy of lanes for gentle travel.
