Dataset description

This layer shows the shallow occurrence (up to 50 m below ground level) of the relevant mineral-containing geological unit. This layer is an operation of the raster layer of the top of this geological unit, determined for the geological 3D model G3Dv3.1 (Deckers et al., 2019). The quality of minerals can vary within a geological unit. The shallow appearance in a particular place is therefore not a guarantee that a good quality of the mineral in question will be found in that place.
