Industry plays an important role in our society, on the other hand, it has a major impact on the environment. To this end, industrial installations with a potential significant impact on the environment are subject to European legislation on Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC). This dataset contains the IPBV installations within the scope of the Industrial Emissions Directive. GPBV installations industry: Energy industries; Production and processing of metals; Mineral industry; Chemical industry; Waste management; Pulp and paper industry & the production of wood sheet materials; Textile industry; Tanneries; Slaughterhouses & Food; Destruction or processing of carcasses or animal waste; Surface treatment using organic solvents; Manufacture of carbon or electrographite by combustion or graphitisation; Capture of CO2 streams for geological storage; Preservation of timber and timber products using chemicals; Independently operated waste water treatment. Livestock breeding plants: Intensive poultry farming; intensive pig farming for fattening pigs; intensive pig farming for sows. It is possible that and type does not contain installations, this type is not displayed in the Geopoint card or INSPIRE card application. The IPBV low also complies with the INSPIRE Directive 2010/75/EU — http://inspire.ec.europa.eu/metadata-codelist/PriorityDataset/dir-2010-75
