Dataset description

In view of the importance of mine subsidence in regional water management and on the measures to be taken with regard to the protection of groundwater, the general delimitation of the subsidence area and the limits of subsidence were indicated on the vulnerability map. Data on the Eisden seats have been taken over from Vansteelandt (1981), on Zolder en Beringen of the Natural Resources and Energy Service (1984) and about the seat Zwartberg van Loy ed. (1980). It is worth noting that the subsidences will continue with time and probably expand.
