Dataset description

Total reception places available, regardless of the type of reception (collective or family) and the method of subsidising (subsidised or non-subsidised reception facilities). For the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, the number of places taken over is the real capacity of the reception areas, i.e. the number of “open” places (for the host, these are the places authorised until 2011, and the actual capacities from 2012). In addition, places under SAJ (Youth Aid Service) are not included. For the German-speaking community, these are real capacities for nurseries, and the number of children welcomed for them.
