Orthophoto mosaic, mid-scale, summer shots, 2018, Flanders

In the context of a vegetation study, Flanders commissions the creation of an area-covering orthophoto cover of the Flemish Region, including the Brussels-Capital Region, every three years. This contract is carried out in two phases: first realising digital photographic aerial shots in the summer flying season with a ground resolution of 40 cm and, then, the production of an orthophoto mosaic with ground resolution of 40 cm. This product is the mosaic of the summer air recordings 2018 (17 June to 1 July 2018). The orthophoto mosaic is available in the form of a real color composite (RGB), a colour infrared composite (CIR) and a panchromatic image (PAN). Through the transfer service, the orthophoto mosaic is only available in the form of a real colour composite (RGB) and a colour infrared composite (CIR). The product is supplemented by a data set ‘flight day contour’ which shows the recording date for each part of the orthophoto mosaic.
