Real estate heritage plans

A real-estate mapping plan is an instrument to preserve and develop heritage in a demarcated area or of a theme for the future. Cooperation and participation are central to the layout. First, all partners work together to develop a long-term vision for the theme or area. In an action programme, they then formulate the concrete actions they implement in order to achieve the common ambitions. The municipality, the province or the Flemish Region can also use a real-estate heritage creation plan as a basis for defining a heritage landscape in a spatial implementation plan.
