Remuneration per employee by place of work

This indicator is calculated by dividing the total remuneration in cash or in kind paid by employers to their employees in payment for the work performed by them during the reference period of the accounts by the number of employees working in the entity’s territory. In the national accounts, the estimation of the remuneration of employees is based mainly on individual company data. Therefore, the national methodology can be applied to a large extent for regional accounts. The distribution must always take place according to the location of the local producing unit. As in the national accounts the NACE code is the one assigned to the enterprise, it must be maintained in the regional distribution.
