Dataset description
This map layer is part of the Renewable EnergieAtlas Flanders. The number of solar boilers per municipality for the year 2014 comes from VEA based on data from the EPB declarations and the premiums issued by the network operators. From this, heat production is estimated, distinguishing between domestic and non-household solar water heaters. Finally, the municipal number is allocated to the residential and tertiary roof area within the municipality. The results are presented here at the level of the statistical sectors.
The figures per municipality can also be found in the attached table.
