This map layer is part of the Renewable EnergieAtlas Flanders. This map layer describes the heat production from renewable energy, estimated for the following technology forms: solar energy, biomass and shallow geothermal. Biomass installations producing pure heat and non-ground-coupled heat pumps are not part of this estimate. The most recent publicly available data were used each time. For more information on the data sources and figures used, please refer to the report. The totals per municipality are expressed here per unit of area. The figures per municipality can also be found in the attached table.
