Dataset description

Definition The lease is the amount that the lessee pays annually to the lessor for the use of his land for agricultural purposes. — Rents are part of the annual survey on the estimation of the harvest. Until 2013, this survey was conducted by agricultural correspondents. From 2014 onwards, a postal survey was carried out directly with farmers. The survey on the estimation of harvests and leases is based on a sample of around 1600 farms. This sample was drawn in such a way as to ensure representativeness at regional, provincial and agricultural level. This survey was carried out in January following the reference year.
