R/V Belgica A962 Underway data (ODAS)

The RV Belgica underway data set comprises all data gathered with the Oceanographic Data Acquisition System (ODAS) aboard the RV Belgica. The standard data acquisition rate evolved from 10 minutes (1984-1986) to 10 seconds (from 1996 on). The stored parameters are: navigational and position parameters, bathymetric data, meteorological data, hydrological data. Together with the parameter values information about the data quality are stored. In addition to the data, the dataset contains information on the available parameters, measurement instruments and instrument history. The dataset can be accessed via web services or made available by request. Via the web services, currently a 1 minute frequency with a 30 minute lag is available. Data requests can be addressed to the contact persons listed and can have any frequency.
