Share of jobs in high-tech industries among employees in industry

The indicator reports the number of employees in the industrial sector who work in an establishment whose main activity is considered “high-tech” to the total number of employees in the industrial sector, at 30 June and 31 December. Combined with that on the share of employees in the ‘high-knowledge-intensity’ service sector, it provides an approximation of the innovation capacity and competitiveness of the entity.
