Dataset description

The standard dataset is a collection of short and long (calamities) diversion routes. — Emergency route (codes ANT-xxx, LIM-xxx, OVL-xxx, WVL-xxx or VLB-xxx): this is a diversion route that is used when the highway is blocked or closed for a number of hours, for example in the event of a serious accident. As soon as a calamity route becomes active, the Traffic Centre will inform you via the dynamic signs above the road which route letter to follow. From the exit you will be redirected through yellow signs via the most suitable regional roads to the next driveway, where you can return to the highway to continue your road. — Long-distance diversion route (code OLA-xxx): this route indicates which route to follow over long distances when there is a calamity on the standard route. These routes always give a from-through to (place or junction) and can walk across the regional boundaries. — Knooplus redirection (code OKL-xxx): this redirection is active when a calamity occurs on one of the branches of a node. — Bypass ring Antwerp (code ORA-xxx): active when there is a calamity on the R1-R2. — Redirection ring Brussels (code ORB-xxx): active when there is a calamity on the R0. — Redirection city of Brussels (code OSB-xxx): active when a calamity occurs on an access road to Brussels city. The basis of geometry is Road Register. The DATEXII feed indicates when a standard redirection is active.
