STAT_SECTOR_2019 Studiedienst/GIS Summary:The definition of statistical sectors within the city of Antwerp as determined by the National Institute of Statistics (NIS), recorded on the large scale basic map. The term “statistical sector” was introduced in 1970 by the National Institute of Statistics. The statistical sectors divide the territory on the basis of morphological and/or socio-economic characteristics. The delimitation of statistical sectors usually coincides with clearly recognisable elements in the landscape. This data contains the statistical sectors as adapted in 2019 by the NIS Doel:Deze distribution of the entire territory is used as a basis for the creation and presentation of static data from various services within the city and CPAS.
