Dataset description

The dataset ‘Sustainable care in Flanders 2014’ contains the encrypted data of a survey survey of a sample of 4000 carers, aged 25 to 79, which were registered through the Flemish Health Insurance. Thus, it is not a representative sample of Flemish carers, but the data provide a diverse picture of the living situation of carers who provide assistance to a heavily dependent person. These are carers who are all active as carers at the time of the search and whose dependent person does not permanently reside in a residential facility.
