Dataset description

Reduction of greenhouse gas emissions by almost 2 % in 2019 (compared to 2018). Total greenhouse gas emissions decreased by 11.5 % in the period 1990-2019. The European emissions trading regulates more than 40 % of Flemish greenhouse gas emissions. Emissions not covered by the Emissions Trading System have only decreased in the period 2013-2019. The greenhouse gases are CO2, CH4 (methane), N2O (laugh gas) and fluorinated greenhouse gases (F-gases: HFCs, PFCs, SF6 and NF3)
