Transfer to Regions

This table shows the revenues collected by the FPS Finance — General Administration of Heritage Documentation (AGDP), which are then transferred to the Regions. This table shows the transfer of taxes collected to the Regions (including fines and interest). Regional taxes are distributed among the three Regions in accordance with the location criteria laid down in the Special Law of 16 January 1989 on the financing of the Communities and Regions, as amended by the Special Law of 13 July 2001 on the refinancing of the Communities and extension of the fiscal powers of the Regions. Regional taxes (duties, interest and fines) are transferred by the FPS Finance to the competent authority of the Region at the end of the month following their collection by the FPS Finance. 1 Amounts as at 19 January 2022 (in euros). ² Since 1 January 2015, the Flemish Region has taken over the tax service for regional registration fees and inheritance tax and transfer tax per death. As from 2015, for the Flemish Region, the amounts represent only the revenue from the ‘Advance Rulings Service’ (SDA) from the SPF Finance from the Succession Fees and Transfers by Death.
