Dataset description

Emptystandsregister Financiën The urban vacancy register of dwellings and buildings is a public administrative document which also includes some small (business) buildings and commercial establishments with an area of less than 500 m².- The term ‘residential’ means buildings/entities with a residential function.- The term ‘buildings’ includes locations with a function other than a residential function (e.g. offices, commercial establishments, warehouses, etc.). For reasons of privacy, no owner data is mentioned. Every citizen can apply for a cadastral extract from the FPS Finance, but strict rules have been imposed as a result of the protection of privacy. In order to express your interest in a particular property, you must contact the owner(s) yourself. For example, you can first check whether the property is actively offered for sale/rental via the internet or post a note in the bus. More information as well as the regulations regarding the vacancy tax can be found on the website: https://www.antwerpen.be/nl/overzicht/belastingen-en-retributies/belastingen/belasting-op-leegstaande-woningen-of-gebouwen-1 Purpose: this layer allows you to locate all records in this list at plot level. It can be used in applications to visualise and perform searches (such as City in Map or Loket RO) or to enable automated data searching (such as in MVI). Production: The source of this layer is the BIAS application, in which the Finance/Eigendom Tax Department keeps the data daily. At the beginning of each month, an extraction is made and brought into GIS by the Study Service (SSO). An automated upload so that the data is up-to-date on a daily basis is currently being prepared. &Creation Date: 2013-10-01T00:00:00 &Publication date: 2018-07-02T00:00:00 & Revision Date: 2018-07-02T00:00:00  Update frequency: monthly & Management: Property tax &Contact: [email protected]
