Water availability OECD countries

The amount of water available depends on the amount of precipitation that falls, the part that evaporates and the amount of water that flows into a land through rivers and groundwater. Water availability can be expressed in absolute numbers per country or region. However, it says more to express water availability per inhabitant. The result is the number of cubic meters available annually per inhabitant. This water serves not only for domestic use but also for agriculture and industry. Internationally, water availability is calculated according to different methods, which may or may not charge groundwater and all inflowing surface water. These are rough indicators that broadly identify possible problem areas.
